Brady Club Learning Activity #1: Submit Your Story

Want to share your HAE story with friends? It is easy. Visit the "Brady's Storybook" and "Submit Your Story" sections. First, you'll enjoy reading the stories from other kids who have submitted their own to the Brady Club. Then - visit the "Submit Your Story" section and complete the questions with your own personal answers! Upload a photo of yourself using the photo uploader, ask your parents to complete the short parent form, and click submit! Once you complete this activity we will send you a Super Brady T-Shirt in the mail!

All stories that are submitted will have the chance to be featured in an upcoming edition of the Brady Club Activity Book!

Return to the "What is HAE" section. Ask a parent or a sibling to help you read the Learn About HAE Section, then answer the following questions to test your knowledge.

Learn about HAE Questions:

1. How many people have HAE?
2. If you have HAE, what is the protein that is either missing or not working?
3. If your C1-Inhibitor is missing or doesn’t work correctly, what happens to the “dam” in your blood vessels?
4. Some people get a ‘warning’ sign on their skin before an HAE attack, what does this look like?

Return to the "What is HAE" section. Let's practice reading and understanding this information again. Click on the orange "Read More" button, and ask a parent or a sibling to help you read the "Learn About HAE" Section. Then answer the following questions to test your knowledge. You can even go back and test your memory from the questions in last week's lesson.

Brady Club Learning Activity #5: Have Fun With HAE Games

Now it's time to have some fun with games! The Brady Club games are only available on the desktop version of the Brady Club so make sure to log in from a computer for this activity. Visit the HAE Games section.

1. Start with the Find a Match game. Flip the tiles and try to match them up in pairs. Once you find all the pairs you win! Can you find all the pairs in 10 moves or less?

2. Join Brady the Bear on a tour around the world with HAE puzzles. Successfully complete all the puzzles before moving on to the next game.

3. HAE Words! Can you find all the hidden words in the word puzzle? If you find them all in under 3 minutes you're doing great! Find them all in under 2 minutes and you're a STAR!



Brady Club Learning Activity #6: Have Fun With HAE Games

Last week we had fun with HAE games but we didn't play them all. This week we'll play the rest, do you think you'll ace the test? Return to the HAE Games section.

1. This week we will start with the Detect Bradykinin Game. The goal of the game is to find the Bradykinin without popping all the balloons. How long can you go before all the balloons pop? If you get to 20 seconds you're doing great, get to 30 seconds and you're on a roll, but can you play for 40 seconds without popping all the balloons? Only time will tell!

2. It's HAE Pacman time!! Use the arrows to find your way through the maze. The goal is to have the Pacman eat all the dots before running into one of the Bradykinin spots. How far can you get without getting caught? If you reach 1000 points or more, you're getting close to a perfect score!

3. Are you ready to rule the road? The HAE driving game is next. Use the arrows to drive the car around the track, can you complete a lap in under 3 minutes? Don't give up, keep driving until you reach your goal.
